Computing@MPI-M

As the computing representative of MPI-M I have the following tasks:

• Consult management and staff of MPI-M on all issues relevant w.r.t
  • computational sciences
  • scientific computing, and
  • information and communication technologies
• Represent MPI-M in (and chair, together with Heinke Schluenzen, Institut for Meteorology, University of Hamburg) the Steering Group of CIS
• Interface MPI-M to external computing Centres like DKRZ, ECMWF and others
• Engage in national and international projects like RAPS, c3, ENES and the like
